How the Program Works

1st Teachers register by completing and submitting a Teachers' Wish List
The Teachers' Wish List allows the teacher to accomplish three Commitment Statement Goals. AAT Teachers & Adopters Registration Form
First Goal: To help provide teachers with instructional resource materials and current technology
Second Goal: Help teachers provide basic supplies, field trips and other necessities for children by helping the teacher "Adopt A Student."
Third Goal: Promote quality by supporting teachers and students with "Continuing Education Programs."
2nd Adopters register by completing the registration form and submitting AAT Teachers & Adopters Registration Form
Next the adopter selects a registered teacher and helps the teacher with their goals.

We direct your donation either to a teacher of your choice, AAT can select a teacher for you, or you may direct your donation to one of the adoption programs of your choice.
100% of your donation is given to your adopted teacher

3rd Teachers or Adopters may order classroom supplies, pay for field trips, and programs.  Commitment Statement and Goals
Your Registered Teachers' Wish List indicates their immediate needs within the classroom.  This list varies from teacher to teacher.  Our goal is to support the efforts of the teacher.  You may purchase the products on the teachers behalf and have it delivered, or the teacher will supply directly to you an itemized account of distribution of funds donated.  Indicating products purchased, field trips taken and/or programs provided for because of your generous donation.
4th Non-profit tax notification
We send you via Email a donation notification reflecting the amount given.  Please note that within each registration form, lower left hand corner provides a section for your notification.  Please complete and submit to our office.
5th Correspondence and interaction
The teacher and students of your adopted classroom send letters, art work, and email throughout the school year.  Interaction as time schedules permit.
Setting the Example of Giving
"Children learn there are people within the community who consider education very important.  These people are willing to give money, time and effort to give kids what they need so they can succeed."
